Pro tip: if you don't have fresh sage on hand, add a small try of basil to your order for an extra punch of flavor.
Pasta Salvia
Ingredients:
1 Cup Vidalia Onions (sliced)
1/4 cup fresh sage (thinly sliced)
1 large container Lemon Sorrel
1 lb. Ground Beef
8 Sweet mini peppers (sliced)
1 container Fettuccine Pasta (cooked)
Method:
Sauté sliced Vidalia onions together with the ground beef in a pan over
medium high heat until onions soften, and beef is browning. Add fresh
sage (or basil, if using) and sliced sweet peppers. Reduce heat to low and cook for another 5-6
minutes or until beef is fully cooked. Finally, add the sorrel, and as soon as it is wilted and mixed in,
pour entire contents of the pan over the heated, cooked pasta.
If desired, season with salt and pepper to taste.
